Yes, its true Hui Meng Chen was the mostpopular potter in the history of Zisha hu.

Ren Fu Collections’ archaeologicallyexcavated teapots can prove it.

How?

Out  of all the 600 Zisha hus inthe first thousand teapots( Zisha  hus-600 and Santoh hus-400), 270 Zishapots are Hui Meng Chen(if at all original potter or old copies) which is equivalentto 45% of all Zisha hus.

Now who is the second most popularpotter judging by the number of pots made(original potter and old copies)?

Nope, we know you are going to say ChenMing Yuan or Hui Yi Gong or Chen Man Sheng.

Yes, it’s a surprise: it is Lu Si Tingand at a very distant second at 34.

Incidentally when Tony Ren , the managerof Ren Fu Collections, was doing field research , he found out all the socalled old Zisha hu experts do not know much about Lu Si Ting except its marketvalue,  shape and where he signed his name.(Strange, how can you know themarket value of a works of art when you do not even  know much about theold potter?)

是的，惠孟臣是在老紫砂壶的历史最有名的，最流行的。

任富收藏的考古发掘的茶壶可以证明。

怎么样证明呢？

在第一个1000把茶壶里面包括600个紫砂壶和400把汕头壶，其中有270把是惠孟臣款（不管是真的还是老仿的），相当于45%我们全部的紫砂壶。

现在谁是第二个最流行的老名家是按当时做了多少把壶的数目来计算（真的和老仿的）？

不，我们知道你会说陈鸣远或惠逸公，或陈曼生。

不对，你们都错了，至少根据壶的数量来判断。

是的，这是一个惊喜：就是陆思亭是第二最受欢迎的，有34把。

惠逸公28把，陈鸣远9把，君德5把。

顺便说一句，任汤尼是任富收藏的主要负责经理，做实地调研，他发现所有的所谓的“旧紫砂壶专家不懂陆思亭除了其市场价值，形状和他签下自己的名字。（奇怪，你怎么能知道一个艺术作品的市场价值，当你不知道老名家的历史？）
