热释光是有大问题了...

What is Thermoluminescence?
Thermoluminescence (TL) is a faint blue light that isemitted when fired pottery is heated at a sufficiently high temperatures. Whenclay is fired in a kiln , the geological thermoluminescence is released .During its lifetime the pottery absorbs radiation from its environment and itis this which creates thermoluminescence . The older the pottery, the moreradiation it has absorbed and the brighter the pottery sample glows. Bymeasuring the TL, it is possible to calculate how much radiation has beenabsorbed and thereby determine an approximate age of the object.
Thermoluminescence  used to be the darling of the art datingworld. But it is in trouble ever since a Beijing man discovered how to addyears into an art object.
How?
By passing through Customs at airports or even better still–by getting the artwork X-rayed at the hospital.(which the Beijinger did)
Let say you take your art objects overseas and at theairport Customs, they scanned your luggage for forbidden objects using X-rays. And let say, each time your art objectis X-rayed, it added a hundred years to its age and by the time it got to itsdestination –the art object might be 200 or 300 hundreds years old depending onhow many times it is X-rayed.
Or even better still, go to a hospital if you have a friendthere or pay people at the hospital  toX-ray your art object to the level you require…say 100 years or 500 years oreven 2,000 years?
And Bingo!: you have a ceramic dish, which was madeyesterday, but is now 1,000 years old or Song Dynasty if you like-thanks to TLtesting.
Of course some people will cry and some people will laughover this: we and Oxford Authentication for one will be disappointed…but ofcourse the fakers and fraudsters will be laughing all the way to the bank.

热释光是有大问题了,不可以鉴定老的艺术品年代。
什么是热释光?
热释光(TL)是在高温下加热陶器时发出的微弱的蓝光。
当陶土在窑中烧制成器物时,释放出地质热释光。经过年年月月,陶瓷器物才自然环境下吸聚放射,并由此产生热释光。
一件陶器年代越老,它吸收的辐射就越多,其热释光发出也就越亮。因此,只要对某一件陶器之热释光强度做出准确计算,便可断代该陶器吸聚之放射物,从而推定该器的大约烧造年代。
热释光曾经是鉴定艺术年代的宠儿。但是自从一个北京人发现如何将艺术品添加年代之后,它就陷入了困境。
怎么用?
通过海关在机场甚至更好–通过作品透视在医院。(像这个北京人做)
比如说,你把你的艺术品带到国外,在机场海关,他们用X光扫描你的行李。来看有没有禁止携带物,不过每次你的艺术品是照X光的,它透视一次增加了一百年,它的年代和它到达目的地的时间–艺术品可能会是200300百岁取决于有多少次是透视(有些飞机停留很多机场海关x光透视)。
或者更好的是,如果你有朋友在医院,或者付钱给医院,把你的艺术品照到你所要求的水平年代,比如说100年,500年,甚至2000年。
那天都是你的了!你有一个陶瓷盘,昨天做的,但现在是1000岁或宋朝,如果你喜欢,感谢热释光测试。
当然,有些人会哭,有些人会笑了:我们和牛津鉴定公司的人会失望的…当然,骗子和骗子会一路笑着去银行。

PS:自从美国爆炸了第一颗原子弹在上世纪40年代,很多国家已经进行了核试验,从而增加了放射到世界的空气环境,为到这样,反过来又影响了艺术使用热释光测试。
