We once met and heard an official of a Beijing CulturalRelics Department said,”Your collections of Xia/Shang/Zhou bronzes is huge butyour old Zisha hu has huge archaeological material and information that areimportant to China’s maritime Silk Route history.”

But he never asked us what we are going to do with them.

Fast forward to the 26th August 2017, Tony Renattended the 2ND “Belt and Road” China-Malaysia Cultural and Arts Forum inWisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

One of the four speakers on the Forum was Chen Geng, theDirector of Xiamen Minnan Cultural Research Council, who delivered a beautifulspeech to shed light on the new discovery in Minnan culture from archaeologicalangles.

And the most important Minnan culture, especially from lateMing to early Qing,was tea culture.

And sitting right at the back of the audience , listening tospeech about Minnan culture was a man with all the archaeological proofs.

His name is Tony Ren and he represent Ren Fu Collections’4,000 over archaeologically excavated teapots(not to mention tea and tea wares)

After the honourable Mr.Chen Geng gave his speech, Tony Ren had a good chat with him, theexpert and researcher on Minnan culture.

Yes, it was a good chat indeed ..but Mr.Chen Geng, aworldly-wise man, is one who never miss out the important question.

“What do you want me to do or what you want to do with thearchaeological material and data?” he asked.

Maybe to help us decide and since this Minnan culturebelongs to China..we entreat mainland Chinese to give us advice of what theythink?

“What do you think Ren Fu Collections should do with thehuge archaeological information and material?”

P/s..Minnan culture is not only found in Fujian, China but isalso the pre-dominant culture in Taiwan.

中国闽南茶文化的海上丝绸之路都在任富收藏的考古发掘发现的茶壶和茶具里面...........

我们曾经见过和听说北京文物部门的一位官员说：“你的夏、商、周 青铜器是巨大的，但你的老紫砂壶有巨大的考古材料和信息，是中国的海上丝绸之路的历史很重要的。”

但他从来没问过我们要把考古的东西怎样解决。

很快过去了2017年8月26日，任汤尼出席第二届的“一带一路”中国马来西亚文化和艺术论坛在马来西亚吉隆坡马华大厦。

论坛上的四位发言人之一是厦门闽南文化研究理事会主任陈耕，他发表了一篇精彩的演讲，从考古学角度揭示了闽南文化的新发现。

而最重要的闽南文化，尤其是明末清初，就是茶文化。

坐在听众的后面，听闽南文化的演讲是一个有着所有考古证据的人。

他的名字叫任汤尼，他代表任富收藏4000把在考古发掘的茶壶（更不用说茶和茶具）

尊敬的陈耕先生发表讲话后，TonyRen与闽南文化专家、研究员进行了愉快的交谈。

是的，的确是一次愉快的交谈，但陈耕先生，一个老于世故的人，从不错过这个重要的问题。
