And thanks to Ren Fu Collections’, too, the world gets tosee early Qing teapots and tea wares that were privately archaeologicallyexcavated, in the 1980s, from the south of the Philippines. The Philippines is little known for old Zisha hu but in factjust like other Nanyang countries ,for example like Malaysia and Indonesia ,itsaw Chinese immigrants and traders knocking on its shore(Read metaphorically)during the late Ming to early Qing period. What the Chinese immigrants and traders did, are anyone’sguess but what prized possessions they took with them when they died were foundin historical burial sites. And it was in these historical burial sites thatarchaeological excavations found many, many Yuan and Song cultural relicsotherwise called “trade wares”. Now the Philippines has seen it aptly and timely to show theworld that the country was indeed part of the historical maritime Silk Routenow called “One Road” as in the China’s ‘One Belt, One Road” initiative. And Ren Fu Collections are very proud to show off our veryown archaeologically excavated early Qing teapots and tea wares from the southof the Philippines in this timeline. We wish China and the Philippines all the best of luck intheir future relationship –just like they did in the past. Enjoy Ren Fu Collections’ historical “One Belt, One Road”archaeological posting.
